'Hood Just four blocks from the Spanish Steps, in the midst of Rome's most prestigious shopping district (streets such as via del Corso and via dei Condotti). It's well connected by metro (the Metro A Spagna) and several buses.
The Gist A hospitable three-star property in a 19th-century building, once the home of an Italian noble family. Accommodations are either standard rooms—done up in warm red and gold tones—that sleep from one to three people, or suites that sleep three to five people. Breakfast is served on the roof garden, from where you can make out St. Peter's dome. Online reviews note the central location, clean but small rooms, and the outgoing staff, but they also point out the noise in rooms facing the street.
