Why It's a Deal A recent search on Kayak showed that the lowest round-trip airfare from Boston to Florence starts from $823 with taxes for travel in mid-November (Alitalia). Add to that $188 per person, including tax, for four nights at Hotel Meridiana, and you'd be paying $1,011 for just the airfare and accommodations.
